Man, it's been a long time since I have made a journal, since I don't really know how many will read my journals, but for the sake of those who silently watch or follow me since you first added me, I wanted to let you know what's happening before some panics I went AWOL soon.
As the title says, I'll be going in mandatory national service in two weeks time, and I'll be offline for a couple of weeks. I estimate I'll get back when August starts, probably the 2nd week onward. Time has sure pass real fast, and I can't imagine the time has come too. I'm not just hoping that all goes well throughout the whole service(which is 2 years)but I also hope that I can still continue doing art as possible. I have mixed feelings about it; I'm worried if once I come back in August, will my skills drop? Probably will. But at the same time, I'm interested in going to field camps and hopefully learn a new skill, like being a medic. And who knows, when I come back to the drawing table, I might have new insights on doing my art. I just pray that all goes well.
Another thing I wanted to talk about is that I have already graduated from polytechnic, attaining a Diploma in Digital Animation. While I too have mixed feeling about the roller-coaster I'd been through during those 3 school years, I'm glad to say that I'm somewhat a proud graduate of 2016. Now it's time to dive into the next chapter of life which is the adult life....scary. There's a lot of major decisions to make, like whether I should do further studies or go straight to work once I'm done with NS. Do I want to further study art-related courses? Or something else? Decisions, decisions....well conquer it one at a time!
With that being said, I will enjoy my last two weeks of freedom before I go into camp. And hopefully some of you will still watch/follow me when I come back!
